Purpose:

To create a graphical abstract, or brief illustrative summary of a scientific article.

This specific article was chosen because of its relevance to the artist personally; I have family members who have passed away from SOD1 ALS and the promising studies coming out about Tofersen treatment are infusing some hope into a hopeless situation.
